De senaste decennierna har hjÀrnforskningen inom tvÄ omrÄden, mindfulness och compassion (medkÀnsla) visat att vi har formbara hjÀrnor. Mentala övningar som mindfulnesstrÀning och meditation kan stÀrka egenskaper som fokus, medvetenhet, medkÀnsla och förmÄga att hantera vÄra kÀnslor. Meditation gör att vi blir mindre stressade, vÀnligare mot oss sjÀlva och andra, sover bÀttre, upplever mindre oro och Ängest, kÀnner mer glÀdje och tillfredsstÀllelse, och blir mer kreativa eller mentalt effektiva. Forskning har ocksÄ visat att vÄr eget vÀlbefinnande Àr beroende av att vi utvecklar medkÀnsla med oss sjÀlva och andra.

Precis som vi gÄr pÄ gym för att trÀna kroppen fysiskt sÄ vill vi bidra till en revolution dÀr mindtrÀning och meditation blir en sjÀlvklar del av livet för att ta hand om vÄra hjÀrnor och sinnen.

Det finns mÄnga fördomar kring meditation. Att det Àr nÄgot flummigt, eller att det Àr nÄgot som bara har med religion att göra. Men det Àr i sjÀlva verket vetenskapligt bevisade metoder som hjÀlper oss att finna mer lycka och vÀlbefinnande i livet. Som hjÀlper oss att bli snÀllare mot oss sjÀlva och andra. Precis som joggning ger dig bÀttre kondis oavsett vad du tror pÄ, sÄ ger dig meditation bÀttre mentalt fokus, avslappning och klarhet.
