Support the Gompa
Creating the conditions for practice
At Yeshin Norbu, our gompa is at the heart of everything we do—a space for meditation, study, and coming together as a community.
This summer, Ven. Khadro and Eleni will be traveling to Nepal. During this time, we hope to bring back a few carefully selected items to support and enrich our gompa, in alignment with our lineage, practices and on the advice of our teacher.
Among these is a thangka, as well as a small number of supporting altar elements.
These objects are not simply decorative. They serve as supports for practice—helping to create an environment that inspires clarity, stability, and compassion.
What we are raising funds for
We are currently raising approximately 1500€ to cover:
- A traditional thangka of six arm Mahakala on the advice of H.E. Ling Rinpoche
Mahakala is a protector deity in Tibetan Buddhism, representing the fierce and compassionate removal of obstacles. - A small number of altar and offering items
- Materials to support the overall setup of the gompa
As we will be bringing these items back ourselves, all offerings go directly toward acquiring them.
Why this matters
A well-prepared gompa supports not only individual practice, but the entire community.
It creates the conditions for:
- a stronger sense of refuge
- a space that reflects the teachings we are receiving
This is something we build together.
How you can contribute
If you feel inspired, you are warmly invited to make an offering.
Every contribution—no matter the size—becomes part of this shared intention.
