Community Meditation and Practice Day

Community Meditation and Practice Day
Join us for a day of meditation and practice together at Yeshin Norbu with Ven. Khadro.
We’ll spend the morning with Medicine Buddha practice and the afternoon with recitation and meditation. It’s a chance to deepen our practice, but also simply to spend some time practising together as a community.
Everyone is welcome, whether you already know these practices or are joining for the first time.

Om detta evenemang
10:00–12:30 — Medicine Buddha Practice
This morning’s practice will be dedicated especially to people affected by mental health challenges, neurodivergence, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and related difficulties.
Medicine Buddha practice can be dedicated to particular people, situations, or causes. For this session, we would like to dedicate our practice to those affected by these challenges, with the wish for their wellbeing and freedom from suffering.
If you would like someone to be included in the dedication, you can send us their name to [email protected]. They do not need to attend the practice themselves.
14:00–16:00 — Names of Manjushri, King of Prayers & Calm Abiding
In the afternoon, we will do a calm abiding meditation, recite the Names of Manjushri and the King of Prayers together.
These practices give us time to cultivate wisdom and compassion, while also allowing the mind to become a little more settled and focused.
You are welcome to join for the full day or attend individual sessions.
Nobody should be turned away from Dharma activities due to financial reasons. If the suggested contribution feels too much for you, please let us know ([email protected]) and we’ll see how we can help.
