——————ENGLISH——————

The Buddha presented the teachings on the two truths as a means to understand reality on two levels – the conventional and ultimate mode of existence of everything. It is when we are unaware of the different levels of reality that we make mistakes and create causes for misery in our own and others’ lives. According to the Buddhist teachings it is a fundamental ignorance of the ultimate reality, of ourselves and all other existence, which keeps us in a cycle of involuntary perpetual dissatisfaction. Whereas gaining an understanding of the two truths serves as basis for entering the path that leads to true satisfaction and everlasting happiness of enlightenment.

In this one day course Venerable Michael will give an introduction to the two truths, we will meditate together and there will be time for questions and discussion.
