Come to the public talk by Geshe Sherab, a Tibetan Buddhist monk with many years of personal practice and teaching, to learn about how to cultivate inner strength and calm, the resources much needed these days. How is self-compassion a tool for resilience and tolerance? What is the original meaning of mindfulness and how is it related to our well-being and flourishing?
Geshe Sherab is very much loved for his profound knowledge about the potential of our minds and warm-hearted and gentle attitude.
Since 2014 Geshe Sherab has been a resident teacher at Thubten Norbu Ling, an FPMT Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Geshe Sherab grew up at Kopan Monastery under the guidance of Lama Yehe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche. He completed his Geshe degree at Sera Jey Monastery in south India. Geshe Sherab visited Yeshin Norbu and Tsog Nyi Ling group in Västerås a few times during the last ten years. This year Geshe Sherab is on a European tour after a break due to pandemic.
