Modulen “Refuge in the Three Jewels” är den sjunde modulen i vårt tvååriga Discovering Buddhism-program som startade i februari 2021.

——————ENGLISH——————

Discovering Buddhism is a two-year program comprising 14 modules that give a solid introduction to Buddhist psychology, philosophy, and practice. If you are interested in immersing yourself in Buddhism, this is the program for you. The emphasis is on all material being applicable in daily life and helping us develop more joy and happiness. Each module consists of several sessions with talks, guided meditations, and practice retreats led by our resident teacher Venerable Michael.

“Refuge in the Three Jewels” is the seventh module of the two-year Discovering Buddhism program that started in February 2021. Even if you haven’t studied previous modules, you are more than welcome to join this module.

In this module we will investigate what it means to become a Buddhist by taking refuge in the Three Jewels—Buddha, Dharma and Sangha—and the essential practices associated with refuge. Find out about the advantage of taking lay vows and their role in supporting and enhancing our spiritual growth.
