Everyone is welcome, regardless of previous experience of meditation and mindfulness. If there are beginners, we adapt to that. For more experienced practitioners, it is a great opportunity to meditate with others and maintain a regular meditation practice.

Location: At the centre and online via Zoom. When you have purchased a ticket you will receive an email with the link to the Zoom meeting

“Minimum donation” covers the costs of having the centre open and running our program. In addition to the minimum donation, if you wish to support the centre or other participants who cannot afford paying, you can donate a larger amount. It is a great opportunity to practice generosity and benefit others. We offer a 20 percent discount on the “minimum donation” to retired, unemployed, and students. To use this discount, please add the course to the cart, click on Checkout, and in the box “Coupon code” type in “discount20” . When your order is completed, you will receive a confirmation email. Look in the junk mail folder if you purchased a ticket and haven’t received a confirmation email. Speakers for this event
Martin is the Director of Yeshin Norbu. For almost 20 years he’s been on a mission to understand more about the mind, both from a western neuro scientific and an eastern contemplative perspective. Martin is a licensed CBT Psychologist and has practiced meditation for almost two decades. He is a graduate of the two-year program Foundation of Buddhist Thought. Martin teaches mindfulness in the corporate world as an accredited trainer of Corporate Based Mindfulness Training. He is also the co-author of three books: Fokus på jobbet, I’m Sorry You Were Saying and The Mind of The Leader. This semester Martin is leading our Foundations of Mindfulness courses and half day retreats, the lunch time drop-in mindfulness meditation (on Mondays and Fridays) and the introduction to mindfulness and meditation evenings.
Sara is the Spiritual Program Coordinator at Yeshin Norbu. She has a professional background in HR. Sara has been a Buddhist practitioner since 2007 and has spent a lot of time at FPMT centres around the world taking courses, doing retreats and volunteering. She moved to Stockholm earlier this year in order to offer service at Yeshin Norbu. This semester Sara is leading the lunch time drop-in mindfulness meditation (on Thursdays), as well as the introduction to mindfulness and meditation evenings.
Zarina is the Media Manager at Yeshin Norbu. She is a certified Cultivating Emotional Balance trainer and Iyengar Yoga teacher. Zarina is a Buddhist practitioner since 2008 and has been leading courses at Yeshin Norbu since 2018. She holds a PhD degree in industrial economics and organization, and she wants to dedicate her life to studying Buddhist philosophy and psychology. This semester Zarina is leading our Buddhism in a Nutshell and Introduction to Buddhist Meditation courses, lunch time drop-in mindfulness meditation (on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and Iyengar yoga for beginners.
