On May 16th the practice is led by Zarina in English.
Vajrasattva is the embodiment of the purifying powers of the Buddha. Its practice enables us to cleanse all the negativities we have accumulated in countless lives and thus avoid their results of suffering and obstacles.

Vajrasattva Practice is not only about reciting mantras and visualization, but it is about purifying our minds. In the Vajrasattva Practice, we do the practice of Four Opponent Powers, which is a psychological process of purifying nonvirtous imprints on the mindstream.

They are: 1) the power of the object, taking refuge in the Three Rare Sublime Ones and generating bodhicitta; 2) the power of regret, feeling deep regret for the negativity committed; 3) the power of resolve, determining not to repeat that negativity; and 4) the power of remedy, a practice such as Vajrasattva that effectively acts as an antidote to the negativity.

Lama Zopa Rinpoche advises:

“If you want others to love you, you must first love others. If you benefit others, naturally they will benefit you. The cause and effect of karma is as simple as this. The Vajrasattva purification practice, which is more powerful than negative karma, can prevent you from experiencing the problems that negative karma would otherwise bring you. Thus, the practice of purification is one of the most important solutions to our problems and is extremely necessary, even for people who believe that we have only one life. If you don’t want relationship problems, business failures, illnesses such as cancer or AIDS, notoriety, or the criticism of others, the practice of Vajrasattva is extremely important – both for those who accept the existence of reincarnation and karma, and for those who do not.”

Donations are welcome. By donating you will help create the conditions for the teachings to be available and for supporting the centre. We thank you so much for supporting the centre.
