——————ENGLISH——————

Lama Tsongkhapa Day is celebrated on the 25th day of the 10th month on the Tibetan calendar, that is on the 10 of December. Traditionally extensive light offerings are made on this day, and there are many other practices one can do to celebrate, and create merit, on this special day. The 10 of December is also the anniversary of the Dalai Lama receiving the Nobel Peace Prize.

As token of appreciation to Lama Tsongkhapa and all our other teachers, everyone is invited to do the Guru puja. The Guru puja is a traditional ritual or practice where we recite and chant prayers and make many offerings together.

This Thursday the celebrations of Lama Tsongkhapa Day will replace our usual meditation evening with Venerable Michael.
