About Us

We are a meditation center in Stockholm

Think of us like your personal mental fitness centre

We all know how important it is to take care of our bodies. It seems everyone has a gym card these days. But what about taking care about our minds and brains?

In a time where depression, burnout, anxiety, and distraction is increasing, is there a way to become more balanced, calm, focused, and kind to ourselves and others? The good news: There is!

We live in a very exciting time where modern neuroscience has been able to show the effects of techniques for training the mind that has been around for millenia. The World Health Organization is now promoting meditation as one of the most important ways to promote mental health. Mindfulness has become mainstream. Training the mind is becoming as important as training the body.

We all want more kindness, calm and joy in our lives. We all want to be able to handle difficult emotions. All it takes is the right attention and effort. We teach you methods that combine authentic Buddhist techniques from the lineage of the Dalai Lama, with methods that neuroscience has proven to positively affect the brain.

What we do

We offer secular courses and techniques, like mindfulness and yoga. We also offer courses in Buddhist philosophy and psychology for those who wish to explore that path.  We provide education about and for the mind, human flourishing and genuine happiness.

Do you want to find inner calm in the demanding world of work and personal life? Do you want to explore answers to deep existential and spiritual questions? We offer systematic and proven techniques with qualified teachers based on the authentic Buddhist tradition of the Dalai Lama.

Welcome to try us out, choosing a drop-in event or a course suitable for you according to your previous experience in meditation.

About us

We are a non-profit organization that is greatly inspired by his Holiness the Dalai Lama’s vision of secular ethics and universal responsibility.

We are affiliated with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) which is a worldwide non-profit organization with 165 centers and projects in 40 countries. This means we follow an authentic Tibetan Buddhist tradition as taught by our founders Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche.
