buddhism retreats

“Retreat” means to take a break from one’s ordinary day to day concerns and view, and to give oneself the opportunity to focus on reality. Away from our daily distractions we can train our mind in the path to enlightenment. Take a break, sit in silence and cultivate the qualities of your heart and mind.

We offer one-day and longer retreats. Our one-day retreats are connected to the modules of the Discovering Buddhism two-year study program, but anyone who has basic understanding of the Buddhist path is welcome to join these retreats. This autumn Venerable Michael will lead the first ever Nyung-nÀ retreat at Yeshin Norbu. Since 2012 we have offered at week-long yearly summer retreats with Stephan Pende in a beautiful countryside venue outside of Stockholm.
