BECOME A YESHIN NORBU MEMBER

We invite everyone who want to be part of influencing the future development of the centre to become a member of the non-profit organisation.

Why should you become a member?

• You are inspired by the vision of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and Lama Yeshe and want to help create a more compassionate and peaceful world by contributing to that vision.
• You want to influence the direction of Yeshin Norbu in Stockholm. Yeshin Norbu is governed by its members, and therefore your contribution is very important.
• Participate in member activities and community building. The foundation for a flourishing center are its members and the friendships and connections we create between each other.
• You realize that all non-profit organisations are completely dependent on its member’s contributions to function, grow, and prosper.

Membership is 250 SEK per year. Members are summoned to the Annual General Meeting. The bylaws for the organisation are available in both English and Swedish. 

Yeshin Norbu Meditation Centre is owned and operated by the non-profit organisation Yeshin Norbu (Föreningen Yeshin Norbu, org nr 802512-5629). We are affiliated with FPMT (Foundation of the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition).

Please note that the membership of the non-profit organisation is different to the Mental Gym Card. No particular affiliation in required to attend the courses at the centre of which many are completely secular.

Being affiliated with FPMT means that the center follows the spiritual direction of Lama Zopa Rinpoche and guidance of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. It means that the centre uses FPMT’s educational programs and material, created in the unique lineage of Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

BECOME A YESHIN NORBU GUARDIAN

Another way to Support the center is by becoming a Yeshin Norbu Guardian. This is for everyone who cares a little extra about Yeshin Norbu’s long term financial stability and growth, through giving a regular support to the centre, either monthly, quarterly or yearly.

All Yeshin Norbu Guardians will receive a Yeshin Norbu friends bag as a symbol of our gratitude and receive first hand notifications when there are special events taking place at the centre.

• Guardian 100 – 100 SEK/month
  A thoughtful way to contribute regularly to our community
• Guardian 150 – 150 SEK/month
  A meaningful monthly contribution to our growth and stability, includes free fika during teachings.
• Guardian 250 – 250 SEK/month
  Substantial support for our long-term vision and programs, includes free meals when offered at the center and fika during teachings.

All Guardian levels include the same benefits: Yeshin Norbu friends bag and priority notifications for special events. Your monthly contribution helps ensure the center’s financial stability and continued growth.
